School Banner inviting more students

A catchy banner was recently installed at the entrance of our school and parish center on 27th Street in bend. It is there for everyone to see. It speaks for itself. We encourage more parents to enroll their children in our St Francis Catholic School.

On Sunday November 2, a group of 15 children dressed up as Saints and Fr Julian presented them one by one with a brief biography. The saints represented were: St Bernadette Subirous, Blessed Mother Teresa, St Helena, St Joan of Arc, St Therese of Lisieux, St Veronica, St Catherine of Siena, St Lucy, St Sebastian, St Michael, St Kateri Tekakwitha, St Katharine Drexel, St John the Baptist, St Gianna Beretta Molla, St Elizabeth of Hungary.

Halloween photos

A group photo of all the children dressed up in Halloween costumes

Our school children went over beyond dressing up yesterday for the annual Halloween festivity. An innovative idea was introduced with the "Trunk or Treat" in the parking lot, as parents parked their cars and opened their trunks to distribute candy to all the children, who in turn, lined up patiently to get a treat. In the morning  each class presented a saint in a school Assembly, after which a visual Rosary was recited. Enjoy the photos.
